JASI’s model of services provides clients with subject matter experts from a wide range of criminal justice professionals and researchers with diverse experience, matched to client needs. Our approach to client relationships is collaborative: our goal is to ensure that clients receive the highest quality service that is responsive to the core needs, and we work with clients to achieve clear, agreed-upon processes, goals, and metrics.
Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Mixed-methods evaluation of justice-related innovations, programs, policies, and procedures
- Process and outcomes assessment rooted in implementation science
- Change management advising, including evidence-based approaches to policy and personnel organizational shifts
- Advising and training modules related to topics including de-escalation, alternative response modeling, deployment, crime control strategies, critical incident responses, officer mental health and wellness, data integrity and infrastructure, and civilian oversight
- Security planning, target hardening, and physical asset and personnel protection
- Advising on investigatory practices and protocols
- Liaising with various government agencies, nonprofits, community advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to aid in coalition-building
